While winter is Jim's favorite season, the end of May, June, and July are my favorite month to ride! Many of you know Jim leads a 7AM M-F group ride from the parking lot of the HUB and as sunrise is now before 7AM more of the group has been showing on a regular basis. Over the years he has noticed the early risers, associated with UGA, have more time during these months. Additionally, the afternoon heat has a lot of others looking for the cooler morning temperatures. Whatever your reason, we enjoy the social time that can be had while riding and treat ourselves each Friday to a post-ride coffee with our friends.

Hello Everyone!The leaves are falling and so are the temps! This is my favorite time of the year to get on my bike. My 4 year old son loves to go on Greenway adventures with me pulling him in his trailer. Riding with friends, family, or an after work solo Pink Church Loop on the road bike makes me so happy.

This ride will be moving at a faster pace than our more social rides, but a slower pace than many of the established group rides for riders who are ready to ride around 14mph. There will not be as much stopping and regrouping as our other rides, so you need to feel confident on your bike and able to ride at a moderate pace.

You may not know, but Sarah H is a pretty accomplished artist. She makes intricate Art Quilts that are inspired by the time she spends pedaling and roaming our trails and roads. She has a small show hanging at the Winterville Library July 1 - August 12.On August 5 she will be talking about her creative process and how she creates her fabric collages.
