I am the store manager at The Hub. I enjoy helping new riders discover their hidden potential and suggesting the right gear for their cycling goals. I help our awesome team by managing the front of the store and the inventory.
I started riding as a young man around Stone Mountain until leaving for college (GT Yellow Jacket '87). At 39 years old, a riding friend got me interested in cycling to get some exercise and lose weight. I dropped 65 lbs. and started amateur racing for three years, doing well in time trials and Clydesdale MTB races. I learned how to work on my bikes, with a lot of help from the Hub, which led to a part time position there in 2010. I joined The Hub full time in 2016, after spending the previous decade as a school teacher and coach.
My favorite ride is the 7:00 AM group ride from The Hub.
My Project One Domane is my favorite bike.
